ELI VALLEY, Artist-in-Residence at the Jewish Daily Forward, presents “Euro+Trash: Kafka, Comics and Collisions of Culture,” an interactive comics slide show about Prague memories, Kafka fantasies, noirish nightmares and the romanticization of prewar Jewish culture and life. And, of couse, COMICS!
GIRLS IN TROUBLE (Alicia Jo Rabins on violin and loop pedal, Aaron Hartman on bass, and David Freeman on drums) perform songs about the complicated lives of women in Torah, including one they’ve never played live, in their last performance til fall
